Arcadia IV

35mm film images and pencil on paper

I no longer use a darkroom but the above image I created in 1992 when I still used a darkroom but had also started using Photoshop. There's little room for error in the darkroom and a few sheets of 24x30in. paper were wasted before all six images in the Arcadia series emerged. Using a mask I placed two photographic images on the paper and then drew around them using a grease pencil.
