Museo de la Revolucion

Museo de la Revolucion

The Museo de la Revolucion occupies the former Presidential Palace, site of an unsuccessful assination attempt against Batista in 1957. Bullet holes can still be seen in the foyer. The collection of revolutionary memoriabilla is amazing: everything from Che's beret and submachine gun to bloodstained shirts worn by guerilla fighters. The text is in Spanish, except for the exhibit detailing the Bay of Pigs failed invasion, but the pictures and articles tell a story to anyone interested in history and the Cuban Revolution.
