The 2004 edition of the Museum Society's calendar displays photographs from a variety of sources showing Pender Island buildings which no longer exist. Amazing images of now defunct industries, pioneer homes and even a hotel provide a rare glimpse at some of the Penders' quickly fading history. Proceeds from sales of the calendar go towards restoration and upgrading of pioneer Robert Roe's home to become the Penders' museum. The house is situated in the former Roesland Resort property, now part of the Gulf Islands National Park Reserve.
