Digging through some old photos recently I found the above image of Princess Diana at the BC Festival of Arts in Prince George, BC (1986). I attended the event as the sound tech for a Victoria theatre company. At the opening ceremonies we managed to get in the front row. When Prince Charles and Princess Diana separated to greet the people we were delighted to see her coming our way. I had to make a quick decision: shake her hand or take her photo. Well, the paparazzi in me took hold and I balanced my camera on the head of our leading actress to get this photo (that explains why the Princess is looking down - not at my bellybutton, but at C.J. who's about a foot shorter than myself!).
