Manaca Ignaza Watchtower
The 44 meter watchtower of Manaca Ignaza overlooks the sprawling sugarcane fields of Valle de los Indigenos. At one time sugar drove the local economy but the two wars of independence in the 19th Century ended the thriving sugar economy here; freezing Trinidad in time. |
