The Kelp panel of Self Kelp. The cut-out pattern is the reverse of the Self panel. The cut-outs rise above the surface instead of receeding. The image is made up of two original photos: one of kelp, taken from above, and one of an islet in the Georgia Strait, taken from a helicopter.
