Golf Island Disc Park, Pender Island - digital image - 2010

Pender Island is home to one of the most unique disc golf parks in the world: the Golf Island Disc Park. Disc golf is played like ball golf but special discs, much like Frisbees, are used. The sport is popular with all ages. At its best it can be an exciting challenge; at its worst is a lovely walk in the woods.
