Gowlland Point, Pender Island - digital image - 2004

Many of my summers were spent in our family cabin near Gowlland Point on South Pender Island. There's a wonderful pebble beach, views across to the San Juan Islands and beyond to Mt. Baker. Gowlland Point, made of conglomerate rock (compressed rock, once the seabed) which creates many interesting hollows.
