A vibrantly coloured tree on the edge of the salt water marsh behind Medicine Beach. This rare salt water wetland was purchased by the community for protection against development. Many birds nest and rest here. The marsh is protected by a berm on the back edge of the beach, largely composed of midden created left by aboriginal peoples who camped, hunted and fished here for hundreds of years.
