Medicine Beach, Pender Island - digital image - 2007

Medicine Beach is located at the end of Bedwell Harbour. The Pender Island community raised funds to purchase land around the beach. The rare saltwater marsh behind the beach is a protected bird sanctuary. However, there's public access to the land above the beach, with many paths to explore.
