Gulf Islands National Park, Pender Island - digital image - 2011

We frequently walk to the top of Mount Norman which is in the National Park. At the top a lookout provides a nice spot to view out over Bedwell Harbour, across North Pender's Wallace Point, across Swanson Channel and beyond to Vancouver Island and, if the weather permits, as far as Washington's Olympic Mountains. But everytime I'm up there I look down and photograph this lovely old oak tree, capturing it in all the seasons and different lights.
