Olympic Penninsula, Washington - digital image - 2002

Once upon a time glass floats, used to hold up Japanese fishing nets, drifted up all along the West Coast but nowadays styrofoam floats are used. It's amazing that this one survived washing up on this rocky beach. Today it resides in our garden.
